Repatriation Services

The steps involved in this work are:

Finalizing the decedent's release from the coroner, health authority or care facility
Transportation of the decedent to our facility (if not already sheltered with us)
Registering the death with the province of British Columbia
Creating the official death certificate and disposition permit
Collecting the necessary travel authorizations from the coroner and health authority
Embalming of the decedent
Supply of a shipping container
Transportation to our local airports either Vancouver International Airport (YVR) or Abbotsford International Airport (YXX)
If the situation dictates we can also offer out of town road transport

Do you need help getting someone flown home?
Get in touch with your local funeral home who will receive the decedent and have them contact us.
We will coordinate directly with them to make all the necessary transportation arrangements.

Death Certificates can be purchased for $27 each.
Current Consumer Protection BC Fee is $40, GST of 5% applies on all services and items, and PST of 7% PST on all products.
